The Supply Account Manager serves as the account owner for assigned supplier and feedstock accounts, with responsibility for sourcing recyclable material, developing account relationships, negotiating purchase terms, supporting onboarding, maintaining supply continuity, and growing profitable material volume from OEM, battery, energy storage, recycler, and emerging technology partners. This role is accountable for incoming supply and works cross-functionally to convert market opportunities into reliable, long-term inbound material agreements.
Responsibilities

- Identify, qualify, and convert new material supply sources with OEMs, battery manufacturers, energy storage companies, recyclers, and emerging technology partners.
- Develop and execute account plans that define volume targets, decision-makers, feedstock opportunities, onboarding actions, purchase terms, and next steps.
- Negotiate, secure, and manage inbound material agreements, including purchase pricing, recycling service terms, material quality expectations, and long-term supply commitments.
- Maintain accurate feedstock pipeline data, inbound volume forecasts, material mix assumptions, purchase economics, margin outlook, and opportunity conversion timing.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and feedstock partners to uncover supply streams, influence decisions, and expand access to recyclable materials.
- Use market, supplier, competitor, pricing, and feedstock intelligence to prioritize high-value sourcing opportunities.
- Coordinate with technical service, S&OP, manufacturing, logistics, customer service, finance, and business leadership to qualify feedstock, onboard accounts, resolve issues, and support supplier commitments.
- Support compliant material acceptance by coordinating feedstock qualification, required documentation, transportation requirements, and environmental, health, safety, and regulatory considerations.
- Lead supplier onboarding and issue resolution from initial setup through first shipment, recurring supply cadence, operational handoff, and corrective actions.
- Maintain account documentation, stakeholder maps, supplier profiles, onboarding status, and commercial follow-up actions to ensure clear account ownership and execution.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven supply account management, supply development, and consultative sourcing skills, with demonstrated ability to serve as the account owner for complex accounts and grow inbound volume.
- Knowledge of the automotive, battery manufacturing, recycling, or energy storage industries.
- Strong negotiation, purchase pricing, contract management, and deal-structuring skills.
- Ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and communicate value across multiple levels and functions within supplier and feedstock partner organizations.
- Strong understanding of commercial economics, including supply and demand, value-in-use, cost drivers, margin management, and negotiation strategy.

- Account Ownership: Serves as the accountable owner from prospecting and onboarding through contract execution, supply continuity, issue resolution, and growth.
- Value-Based Sourcing: Connects Cirba Solutions' recycling, processing, compliance, and battery materials capabilities to supplier needs, risk reduction, and long-term value.
- Commercial Negotiation: Structures, negotiates, and closes inbound supply agreements that support reliable volume, competitive economics, and margin growth.
- Market and Supply Intelligence: Applies insight into feedstock availability, supplier dynamics, competitor activity, pricing, and industry trends to prioritize high-value opportunities.
