1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Mapt ("the Platform"), operated by Battery NEXUS, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Mapt is a direct recruitment platform specialising in the battery industry value chain. It connects job seekers with employers and provides tools for companies to showcase job opportunities, with zero placement fees. The Platform includes an interactive map, company profiles, job listings, and recruitment tools.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. For Job Seekers

• You may create a profile, upload a CV, and apply for jobs listed on the Platform.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile and application materials.
• You grant Mapt a licence to display your profile to relevant employers based on your visibility settings.
• Mapt does not guarantee employment outcomes or interview opportunities.

5. For Employers

• You may post job listings, manage applications, and access candidate profiles subject to your subscription plan.
• All job postings must be genuine, lawful, and accurately described.
• You must not discriminate against candidates on the basis of protected characteristics.
• Paid job postings are subject to our pricing terms and are non-refundable once published.
• We reserve the right to remove any job listing that violates these terms or applicable law.

6. Payments & Subscriptions

• Certain features require payment. All prices are displayed on the Platform and are subject to change.
• Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis unless cancelled.
• One-time job posting fees are non-refundable once the listing is live.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Platform without authorisation.
• Use the Platform to spam, harass, or contact users without consent.
• Attempt to circumvent the Platform by contacting candidates or employers outside of it to avoid fees.
• Upload malicious code or interfere with the Platform's operation.
• Impersonate any person or entity.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and technology on the Platform is owned by Battery NEXUS or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Platform without prior written permission. You retain ownership of content you submit (CVs, job descriptions, etc.) but grant us a licence to use it to operate the service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that job listings or candidate profiles are accurate. We are not responsible for the conduct of employers or job seekers.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Battery NEXUS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities, revenue, or data.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
